What's in the Complete Case Bundle
The Complete Case Bundle is an optional add-on for $24.99, available after your demand letter has been delivered. It compiles every document you'd need to file a small-claims case or hand the matter to an attorney — no scrambling for your lease at the last minute.
What's inside
The bundle is a single PDF (and a separate ZIP for individual files), containing:
- Your lease — re-bundled from what you uploaded into the wizard;
- Move-out evidence — any photos, walk-through documents, or correspondence you uploaded;
- The demand letter we sent — the as-mailed PDF, with the letter date and the certified-mail tracking number;
- USPS Certified Mail receipts — the acceptance receipt (proof we mailed it) and the signed Return Receipt (proof the landlord received it);
- The follow-up notice, if you sent one;
- The relevant state statute — verbatim text of the section that applies to your case (e.g., Fla. Stat. § 83.49 for Florida), with the citation and the official source URL;
- A sample small-claims complaint — pre-filled with your facts, your dates, your dollar amounts, and the cited statute. You can use it as-is in most jurisdictions or adapt it to your county's required form;
- An attorney handoff sheet — a structured one-page summary of the case, ready to email or hand to a tenants' rights attorney without explaining everything from scratch.
What it isn't
A filed lawsuit. The Case Bundle is the packet you'd take to court — we don't file anything for you. Most small-claims courts require you to file in person at the clerk's office or through their online portal, paying a filing fee in the $30-$100 range.
Also: it's not legal advice. The packet is a compilation of documents and a working draft of a complaint; it doesn't analyze your case or recommend whether you should file.
When it's worth getting
- Your landlord ignored both notices. The bundle is the next logical step.
- You want to take the case to a tenants' rights attorney. The handoff sheet alone saves an hour of attorney intake time, which is the cost of the bundle several times over.
- You're going to file in small-claims court yourself. The pre-filled complaint and the organized evidence packet are exactly what the clerk will ask for.
When you probably don't need it
If your landlord paid after the first letter — which is the typical outcome — you don't need the case bundle at all. The bundle is for cases that don't resolve at the first or second letter.
Is the case bundle ever included for free?
No. The bundle covers real costs (PDF generation, evidence compilation, dynamic complaint drafting per state) and is structured as an opt-in add-on so customers who don't need it don't pay for it.
